The City of Windsor’s Parks system boasts over 200 parks, over 130 km of trails (including 6 km along the waterfront), and nearly 2,500 acres of greenspace across the community. The Rediscover Our Parks Master Plan’s focus is to promote the existing parks system for people to rediscover and explore. The recommendations found within the document have been compiled from previous consultations and survey results, as well as a document review of what other municipalities are doing to ensure that the City of Windsor is providing up-to-date recreational experiences for the community.
