
In honour of the tremendous work undertaken by members of the community during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mayor Drew Dilkens has launched the Windsor Community Champion Awards to recognize those who worked tirelessly to ensure others were able to stand strong in the face of adversity.
After careful consideration, Mayor Dilkens has selected the following groups and individuals to receive the first round of Windsor Community Champions Awards for extraordinary contributions to our community at a time when we needed them the most.

- Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association – By donating necessary supplies throughout the pandemic
- Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor & Essex County – By supporting those in their care throughout the pandemic
