Today is a great day for investment and development in Windsor’s downtown core. We have all been watching with excitement as the Old Fish Market building on the corner of Chatham and Ferry Streets has been brought back to life. This has been made possible by the hard work of local developers and the support of City Council; our Downtown Community Improvement Plan approved $450K towards the project. We are pleased that our friends at Quicken Loans in Detroit, who worked so closely with us on the Amazon HQ2 bid, see the same value in our downtown that I do. They will be opening a new technology office in the Old Fish Market building. This will bring well-paying software, technology, programming and engineering jobs to the heart of our city. We are delighted to welcome them to Windsor and are excited about their future here.  Windsor is on the right track!
