It’s hard to believe it’s been ten years since University of Windsor President and Vice Chancellor, Dr. Alan Wildeman first arrived in Windsor. At the end of this week, Alan will officially retire and assume the role of President Emeritus.  Since Alan and his wife Debra arrived in Windsor we’ve seen the University flourish. There are new state-of-the art buildings on campus, the grounds have been transformed, and of course, the university has expanded its’ footprint into our downtown while saving several heritage buildings. We’ve had an amazing relationship between the City and the University and Alan’s vision and leadership have paved the way for even more growth and success. In the latest edition of Mayor’s Minute, Alan and I sit down to talk about what’s changed since he first arrived, of what he’s most proud, and whether the Key to the City will get him out of a speeding ticket.
