In this edition of Mayor’s Minute, Mayor Dilkens takes you into one of the oldest and most significant buildings in Windsor – Our Lady of Assumption Church. It was built in 1845 and was home to the Assumption Parish, which celebrates its 250th anniversary this year. The church unfortunately had to close its doors in 2014 due to rising renovation costs but Bishop Fabbro recently announced a new analysis to determine what it will take to restore this important landmark that is an integral part of Windsor’s history.
