Mayor Drew Dilkens was pleased to join Kate Young, Member of Parliament for London West, in announcing the investment in better water and wastewater infrastructure for Windsor. Thirteen new projects have been approved under the Government of Canada’s Clean Water and Wastewater Fund. The federal government will provide up to 50 per cent of funding – over $6.1 million to these projects and the provincial government will provide 25 per cent – over $3 million. Investment upgrades will ensure Windsor’s drinking water will continue to be of the highest of quality and help with the City’s needs related to waste water and storm water management.
